With our range of teak wall panels we bring a natural feel,
to any modern interior. With the wonderful appearance
of teak wood, any wall can become a piece of art.

Seeing the vast amounts of teak, too small for furniture,
going to waste. Inspired us to create the teak wall cladding
that is Avanya today. We guarantee that no new trees are cut
down to make any of our wood panels.

Although all of our teak panels are assembled by experienced craftsmen,
one crucial step is done by machine to guarantee an always consistent product.
Contrary of using a conventional table saw,
we use an advanced wood molding machine to cut our teak wood to the perfect size.

All our teak comes from waste after the Kiln Dry.
This assures that the wood doesn’t contain to much moist.
For this reason the teak wood keeps it’s final shape,
and becomes resistant to mold and wood worm.
Also, lower grades of softwood have already been discarded.

In order to prevent quality problems in a later production stage,
we cut all our pieces to a variety of exact fixed sizes.

Every teak wall panel consists of between 3 and 11 different components.
After sufficient amounts of each component have been cut,
the wood is ready to be assembled.

Our ladies in assembly glue the pieces of teak on a polyester net
using a fixed pattern. Because we always use the same sized components,
we can make a wall panel that is always similar in appearance.
Rather than laminating the teak panel we glue them on a net so that the panels
remain flexible, don’t crack during transport and are easier to install.

After assembly our wood panels are left to dry,
for a period of two days.

After the glue is completely set, the teak panels are checked
for the smallest of errors and thereafter cleaned.

Although almost all our teak cladding comes out of production flawlessly,
some panels still need some minor revision by an experienced craftsman.

After all quality check stages have been passed
the wood panels are ready to be packed. We do so
using thicker than usual cardboard boxes, so
that the teak cladding can be immediately shipped
to their final destination by regular courier.

After all is ready, the teak panels still have a long journey to go to your wall.
The boxes are efficiently loaded on pallets, shipped to the United Kingdom and thereafter distributed.
